Inspired is looking for a full-time Product Designer who is excited to tackle new design challenges for our mobile apps. You’ll be responsible in helping form the experience of Inspired that merges social impact, lifestyle, music and culture within both our iOS and Android apps. As a Product Designer at Inspired, you’ll be one of the first designers on a small but growing design team who works hands-on with Product, Brand and Engineering teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Work through design challenges from start to finish, detailing out user flows and interactions required to bring them to life (we typically design in Figma)
Sketch, prototype, and/or quickly comp ideas to give quick visibility to other team members to assess viability and approach.
Create high-fidelity designs that are a good representation of what should be built.
Translate feedback, insights and analytics to inform design decisions
Collaborate with our Brand lead to infuse personality and delightfulness in the product experience
Support our Product leads to navigate use cases and identify new product requirements
Work closely with our Engineering team to in creating the best end experience as we build and iterate
Improve and help further establish our design language and design system within our app ecosystem
Help create a maintainable, efficient and organized design process as we look to grow the team in the future
Skills to help you be successful:
Not Your First Rodeo — You have previous experience designing mobile products and design systems and have something to show for it.
A Present Mindset — You don’t need block out others for long periods of time in order to get work done. As a distributed team, good and constant communication is what makes us successful.
Take the Mic — You’re able to communicate and present your work to involved teams.
Get Scrappy — Not everything will be perfectly defined at times and much of our process involves working together to throw ideas against the wall.
Early and Often— You have a willingness to be open in your design process, and avoiding big reveals. We are a scrappy team and don’t expect ideas to be perfect and seeing design in process helps identify opportunities and plan accordingly.
Not Afraid of Feedback — You have an ability to absorb feedback and work through ideas with others.
Good Time-Management. You’ll be expected to be able to manage your own design estimates and production time and be able to communicate that outward to other team members.
A Bit of a Care Bear — Ok, that’s probably a fluffy label, but this one is important: you actually care about making a difference and the people you’re designing for. You are willing to go out of your way to learn and understand what people are going through to better empathize with how your design should impact them.
Bonus Points - You have an ability to get your hands dirty in code. Our apps our built on React Native, but even being able to produce your own interactive prototypes and concepts in any environment (html, css, JS could be valuable)
